This year, the La Venta Association has set its sights on exploring the Perito Moreno glacier, which one of the biggest in Patagonia.
The Perito Moreno has already been the subject of a major expedition in 1995, with a preliminary reconnaissance the year before. The new expedition’s objective will be to research, explore, document and report the changes in the internal structure of the glacier over the intervening 15 years.
Intermatica has provided the association an Iridium satellite terminal.
